Monday's = Steak Night - HQ

Monday's have become more special with these awesome 2 for 1 specials. This weeks one goes to HQ situated in shortmarket street Cape Town.  They basically specialise in steak and are one of the top steak places in the mother city.

This place gets super busy on a Monday night so be sure to make a booking. The venue is quite big but still very cosy and you get to enjoy a live band or duo performing, while digging into your steak.

You get two steaks for the price of one and it comes with a tasty salad and chips as a side. The steak is covered in their delicious butter sauce and they top up your steak with extra chips and sauce on request at no extra charge. The steak is really tender and good, only fault - was that there was a lot of fat still on the steak.

The service was excellent and the ambience was vibrant and cosy.

Besides the fat this is still one of my favourite steak joints.
