Sexy summers -shimmy beach club

One of Cape Town's hottest venues and the place to be this summer whether you dining, partying or even catching a tan.

The venue has some of the most magnificent views of the ocean and harbour.

So I definitely couldn't turn down a dinner invitation with my bestie Lisa and her family. 

The ambience definitely gets a 10, the place is vibey even on a chilly summer day. The decor is sophisticated and it has that beach glam.

The food is amazing we shared some starters which consisted of calamari with a sweet chilli sauce and chips; lamb and jalapeño croquettes with sweet corn guacamole (my favourite) and chicken koftas with a greek dressing.

For mains I shared a sushi platter for two with Lisa.  Their sushi is fresh and tasty but also a little fragile.  I may need to work on my chopsticks technique. Line fish with chips and linguine pasta, pancetta, basil and sundried tomato were also a favourite.

If you want a nibble by the pool side try the chicken wrap or butter chicken pizza.

The only downside about this place is the service more so on a busy day or evening. Definitely room for improvement however still an enjoyable evening even if our party was cut short due to the venue been booked out. Surely you should know this in advance?
